What is your calling?
Service, fire, spirit, hope.
Divine Creator, thank you for this day of Pentecost, for the reminder that as your children, we learn that there are different kinds of spiritual giftings, and they all come from the same Spirit.
For the reminder that there are different ways of serving, and the example to serve comes from the same Spirit.
God, we thank you for the humbling reminder that your power works in different ways through different people, and it is the same Great Spirit who is at work in all of them.
It is in these many ways that the Holy Spirit makes themselves known in and through each one of us, for the good of all.
May we use this knowledge to speak out against injustice, free the oppressed, create peace at home and throughout the world, and speak your powerful truth of LOVE.
